Courteney And Jason | German Village Engagement

I consider engagement sessions to be just as important as capturing one's wedding day. Engagement photos not only provide special memories of the time leading up to a couple’s happily ever after, but they also offer me an opportunity to develop a strong bond with my clients. During engagement sessions, I strive to create a comfortable and fun atmosphere for my clients because I want them to feel relaxed in front of the camera. And my recent shoot with Courteney and Jason in German Village, Ohio, was so awesome! The lovebirds were complete pros in front of the camera, posing and laughing together, and their happy vibes radiated throughout the day, making their engagement photos absolutely incredible.

Courteney And Jason’s German Village Engagement Session

Courteney and Jason had the most dreamy engagement session in German Village. Though the couple kept everything simple and sweet, their engagement photos show just how much they love and dote on each other. German Village is a beautiful, historic neighborhood with brick-walled buildings, scenic streets, lush green parks, and several other facilities and services. The neighborhood also has many bookshops, jewelry stores, artisan coffee shops, and more that make it a great place to visit and enjoy.

For their engagement session, Jason and Courteney had two outfit changes. For the first half, Jason was styled in a crisp white shirt, long coat, and pants, while Courteney wore a stunning white satin dress, long coat, and heels with elegant bow detailing in the back that made her look like a classic, modern-day Cinderella. The two were all smiles as they celebrated their new milestone while also looking forward to their upcoming wedding next year, which I can’t wait to document! Every time I asked them to strike a pose, they would both start laughing, and that made their engagement photos so wholesome.

The German Village is also host to many picturesque backdrops, so naturally, we didn’t settle for one particular spot. And Courteney and Jason were game for anything. The couple walked hand-in-hand through the streets, occasionally stopping to share a warm hug or kiss in front of the various gorgeous backdrops. Even though the weather was a little chilly, the bride and groom-to-be were so happy to be outside, surrounded by the gorgeous fall aesthetics. They didn’t even have to pose! Just being themselves was enough to get some super romantic portraits of Courteney and Jason.

As we continued with the engagement session, we also made a stop at a park that had beautiful fall leaves scattered all around. Jason and Courteney did a quick outfit change and looked photo shoot-ready even in their new outfits. And since the sun began to set, it cast a warm glow, which created a magical atmosphere that added to the romantic charm of their engagement pictures. The fact that they were having such a good time together made it so easy to capture their bond through photos.

Celebrating this new milestone in their lives, Courteney and Jason ended the photo shoot by popping a bottle of champagne. They looked perfect together, and it was a pleasure to capture all their candid moments for them!
