Randall & Anna | Scioto Mile And German Village Engagement

There's something magical about capturing the beginnings of love, especially when it comes to engagements. And let me tell you, Randall and Anna's engagement shoot was nothing short of enchanting! I've been so lucky to work with Anna for many years, capturing memories at weddings and corporate events. But this time, the tables had turned as she asked me to be her engagement photographer. We headed to the gorgeous neighborhoods of Scioto Mile and German Village in Columbus, and the magic just happened! Every moment of their session was a beautiful, heartwarming experience and one that I'll always cherish.

Randall & Anna’s Scioto Mile And German Village Engagement Session

It was an absolute joy to be Randall and Anna's engagement photographer. Anna, being a professional photographer herself, was so at ease in front of the lens, and her chemistry with Randall was off the charts. Stepping into the charming locales of Scioto Mile and German Village, it felt like we were in a movie set. But the love between them was no act; it was real and raw.

What more could any photographer ask for than two beautiful people in love against a stunning backdrop? For this session, Scioto Mile and German Village did not disappoint. With the spectacular bridge, riverfront, and reeds, we were utterly spoiled for choice of locations. No matter where we went, Randall and Anna's love shone so effortlessly through every moment we captured. Beyond that, they were naturals in front of the camera, taking direction easily and posing like pros.

One of my favorite moments during the session was when we captured the golden hour with Randall and Anna basking in the golden light and against the gorgeous sunset sky with stunning hues of pink and orange! The couple’s love radiated against the backdrop of the city skyline and beautiful riverfront. You could see it in the way they looked at each other and the way they held hands; every photo was filled with so much love and tenderness.

The amazing architectural backdrops and the wonderful weather added so much drama and element to Randall and Anna’s engagement story. But what made this session really special was the undeniable chemistry between the happy couple. Walking hand-in-hand through Scioto Mile and German Village, their sweet smiles and twinkling eyes lit up every scene. It was as if nothing else in the world mattered except for the love between these two beautiful souls.
