Arushi And Li | COSI Wedding

No two weddings are alike, and each couple has their own way of celebrating their big day. From traditional ceremonies to more modern celebrations, each culture has its own customs and traditions that make weddings so unique and interesting to photograph. But at the end of the day, no matter what the specific details are, every wedding boils down to one thing: The celebration of love and the union of two individuals. And Arushi and Li’s wedding was no exception. The lovely couple celebrated their wedding at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Ohio. From their wedding outfits to their grand reception, everything was so well planned. I had a blast shooting their beautiful wedding.

Arushi and Li’s Wedding Day

Arushi and Li's wedding at COSI was a truly out-of-this-world experience! Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, the museum features live shows, world-class exhibits, and extraordinary views of the Columbus skyline, making it the perfect place for a grand wedding. The location offers a custom wedding experience like no other, so if you’re looking for a venue for your special day, don’t forget to check out the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Ohio.

The couple’s wedding was a graceful blend of two cultures. Arushi is Indian, and Li is Chinese, so they did their best to include both cultures in their special day. And the result was a truly amazing event that incorporated the best of both worlds.

It was an ideal day for Arushi and Li's wedding. I started their wedding photography by capturing some solo and couples portraits. They were glowing with joy and looked so happy together, and I could tell that they were really looking forward to celebrating their wedding day.

Arushi looked so regal and elegant in her Qun Kwa, which was a traditional two-piece, bright red Chinese wedding ensemble that was embellished with golden thread and sequins. For an Indian touch, she had striking henna designs on her hands. Her hair was tied up in a bun with lavish hair accessories, and she looked absolutely stunning. On the other hand, Li looked so handsome in his Tang suit. These two left no stone unturned to make their wedding day unique.

Li and Alex also rented a magnificent white horse-drawn carriage for their wedding, and I was there to capture all the magic! The horse was wearing a festive headpiece, and the couple looked so lovely together as they rode through the streets of Columbus. It really was a fairy tale moment, with the warm glow of the sun peeking through the trees.

Their wedding reception was a one-of-a-kind experience. Arushi did a quick outfit change and looked like a princess in her emerald green dress. The couple’s reception was exquisite, with glitzy centerpieces and a breathtaking star-lit roof. The couple did an amazing entrance, with the bride doing a choreographed dance into the reception. And the groom did the same and lip-synced to a song for his bride.

Their loved ones also did a huge dance, and their friends planned a special performance for them as well. I don't think I've ever seen a happier or more lively group of people than at Arushi and Li's wedding. It was evident that everyone there was having the time of their lives. The dance floor was packed all night as guests danced and laughed together. It was truly a night to remember, full of happiness and warmth. The newlyweds looked absolutely radiant, and it was clear that they were deeply loved by all who knew them.
