Julie & Victor's Columbus Athenaeum Wedding
As a wedding photographer, nothing makes me happier than seeing couples fight the coronavirus pandemic in their unique ways. Despite the pandemic changing countless wedding plans, couples still managed to turn the situation around and get married in intimate ceremonies as soon as restrictions were eased and weddings were allowed to take place again, albeit with some significant modifications. And even though grand weddings and ceremonies were replaced by smaller, more intimate weddings and 'minimonies,' these weddings were just as memorable as any other wedding.
Julie and Victor are also one of those couples who decided to take their big leap together and had an intimate wedding in March this year (2021). Their ceremony took place at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, and the reception was held at the Columbus Athenaeum. They picked me as their wedding photographer, and I loved capturing Julie and Victor's special moments into forever photos.

Even though it was a smaller wedding, the bride and groom left no stone unturned to look their best. On the wedding day, Julie looked stunning in her gown from the Wendy's Bridal Shop, and her hair and makeup were done to perfection by Katheryn from The Bride Bar. I just couldn't stop taking her portraits! And with that 'I am the luckiest man alive' look and a big smile on his face, Victor looked equally handsome in his suit.
We started at the Holy Cross Church and got some amazing portraits of the couple there. Later, we moved to the Columbus Athenaeum, which had gorgeous interiors. It was a delight for me to photograph Julie and Victor against such pretty backgrounds, and the fantastic florals by Orchard Lane Flowers added that dash of beauty to the wedding images.
Julie and Victor, I wish you all the health and happiness in the world. I hope you enjoyed your day with me as I did with you. Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding photography. I am sure you have heard it before, but let me say it again: It was a beautiful wedding, and I loved being able to play my part in it.
