Krista And Trent | The Farm at Harvest Hills Wedding

It’s no secret that I love weddings! Big fat grand weddings or small intimate backyard weddings - I love being a part of them all. Being surrounded by all that love and warmth is a privilege that comes with this job, and I will always cherish that. I had one such delightful experience being Krista and Trent’s wedding photographer. With their dearest family and friends in attendance, Krista and Trent became husband and wife at an intimate wedding at The Farm at Harvest Hills. Surrounded by beautiful hills, the venue with its spacious and beautifully-designed barn was the perfect venue for the kind of wedding these two dreamed about.

Krista And Trent's Wedding Day

I started the day by taking getting ready pictures of my groom and his groomsmen. On the other hand, Krista looked like a vision in her bridal dress, which went flawlessly with her bridal bouquet of white roses. The icing on the cake was the beautiful lighting at the venue, which was exactly what I needed to give the photos that dreamy vibe. My couple had planned for a warm and sentimental no-look first look, which was just as meaningful and touching as the traditional first look.

It was an intimate wedding with only Trent and Krista's close friends and family in attendance. To be precise, there were about 25 people in attendance. And all those 25 people came to the wedding with just one aim: To shower the couple with their love and support on their big day. Both the bride and groom had their kids at the wedding, which made it so special for both of them. And the kids were clearly a great support system for the couple. It was heartwarming to see how happy they were to see their parents start this new journey together.

One of the most memorable parts of the wedding was when Krista's son walked her down the aisle. It was such a pure and happy moment. From when I first saw them together during their ‘first look’ to watching them giggle and laugh during the vows, Krista and Trent were #CoupleGoals throughout their wedding day, and as you can imagine, I was super excited to capture their chemistry through couples portraits. The couple had a sweetest ceremony, and then we were off to the fields for their portraits.

The venue had stunning backdrops and vast open spaces, which were perfect for outdoor photography. These two were just so happy to be together, and with the brightest and biggest smiles on their faces, they happily posed for their wedding portraits. It was a joy for me to witness their bond and to watch them soak in the moment and the happiness of getting married. Some of my favorite photos were the ones I took of Krista and Trent with the sunflowers in the backdrop.

Another highlight from the wedding was taking a photo of my bride and groom with all of their guests. Group shots are notorious for being time-consuming, but because of how wonderful Krista and Trent’s guests were, it was a breeze to pose everyone. Perfectly aligning with their fun personalities, the newlyweds chose a lit sparkler exit that they walked through with pure joy and bliss!
