Nicki & John's Columbus Engagement
Columbus is such a beautiful city, and I’ve been fortunate to have photographed so many couples here over the years. There are several photo-worthy spots in Columbus and so much variety to showcase when it comes to selecting interesting backgrounds for taking stellar images. Some couples prefer green patches, while others are fans of museums and architecture. Some love the riverfront, while others are drawn toward city life, and they want to highlight these unique aspects in their stories. Nicki and John make one such couple that explored the city for their engagement session and incorporated its various elements into their story. They got their engagement photos done at different locations in Columbus and highlighted their modern and elegant selves so beautifully through their engagement images. The entire session turned out to be a fun-filled and exciting affair for me as well. The rapport I built with my clients helped me get some stunning pictures in the process.
Columbus Engagement Photography
Nicki and John were so upbeat during the entire photo shoot. They were relaxed and ready to enjoy this special day together. Be it their smart casual look for the photos or the smiles they wore throughout, every aspect of their personality helped me create some memorable images for this lovely couple. And it not just kept my spirits high but also made my work easier. My couple's bright and happy faces also made the images look so much livelier.
I photographed Nicki and John against majestic earthy concrete pillars and also created their engagement portraits with some other architectural elements in the background. Taking their photos around the iconic Scioto Mile was so much fun too. The natural lighting, Nicki and John’s photogenic faces, and their comfort in front of the camera made my work a joyful experience. Besides the photos that I took of my couple outdoors, the ones I created of them inside the Land Grant Brewery turned out to look so amazing. As this adorable to-be bride and groom clinked glasses, sipped their drinks, engaged in happy banter, held hands, and looked at each other with love, I got some lovely portraits of them together. I also highlighted Nicki’s gorgeous and sparkly engagement ring in some of the pictures. In all, it was a beautiful day spent with my gorgeous couple at amazing locations.
